The Friday 5 - January 12, 2018

Truth time: I almost forgot about this post today because I haven't posted anything else all week! It's been an interesting week, with crazy weather, insane toddler behaviour (we woke up to a butt naked toddler today, AGAIN!), and my Christmas decor is still up. But that's not why we're here. Let's look at 5 of my very favourite things this week!

1. Baking bread at home!

So this is something I tried at home for the very first time this week. Today, actually. I baked one loaf of whole wheat oatmeal & honey bread and it is AMAZING! I'll put the recipe up here soon with the small alterations I made. It's so darn good! For now, check out my Food Pinterest board where I'll be posting more yummy recipes!

2. The 10x10 Challenge!

You may have heard me talk about this before, as I've tried it a couple of times. Well, I'll be doing a Winter 10x10 challenge and it starts next Friday! The basic gist is this: 10 pieces of clothing (including shoes) for 10 days. If you want to learn more, check out Lee Vosburg or Caroline Joy.

3. LAGOM

I picked up this little book last week and have already read more than I thought I would manage in just a week! It's all about the Swedish way of living that focuses on balance. Specifically, "not too little, not too much, just right." Doesn't that sound lovely? This is the book, in case you're interested!

4. Mules

Not the animal... the shoes! It's the completely wrong time of year for me to suddenly decide I love these shoes, but the heart wants what the heart wants, right? I lined up some of my faves:

5. Lemontree Interiors

Have you met Sophia? She's the witty, lovely, and insanely talented designer behind Lemontree Interiors. Though we have never met, I happen to think she's an incredible human. Her designs always include white, black, and wood tones, topped with texture, warmth and sophistication. She's like my idol, basically... So check her out!And that's all I have for this week! Next week I'll be back with a DIY project I've been meaning to post about for about 9 months, and a little more on the Winter 10x10. Will you try it with me?
