Introducing the Improve Canada Showroom

Last month I got to visit Canada's largest home improvement showroom and believe me when I say, it did NOT disappoint. Improve Canada houses over 350 showrooms for all things from exterior patio stones to interior decorating accessories for a truly start to finish experience when it comes to whatever project you're tackling! Today I'm going to share with you some of my very favourite showrooms to give an idea of the diversity of things I was able to see while there.

First, let me tell you that they are incredibly safe with new COVID restrictions, and showrooms are open by appointment only, limiting the number of people inside at all times. Their concierge service also makes booking those appointments and finding the right vendors super easy! They know everything there is to know about the showrooms and can guide you easily to the right places.

Now let me explain to you the kids of showrooms I visited and that you can find while you're there.

Building Materials

If you're looking for exterior building materials, there were so many different showrooms to visit! I loved seeing the beautiful interlocking stone available at Unique Interlocking (Unit 252) - I honestly had no idea that interlocking could look so good! Platinum Walls (Unit 165,166) has so many options for stone veneer, they had me daydreaming of changing up our home exterior or even cladding a fireplace in one of their gorgeous designs. The Liga showroom (Unit 327) is so darn pretty! I felt like I was enjoying a gorgeous Summer day in the middle of Winter when I walked in! They offer polycarbonate panels to build greenhouses, gazebos, or anything else you can dream of!

Bathroom Fixtures

There's no shortage of inspiration when you walk into showrooms like Canaroma (Unit #232/249) and the Bathroom and Kitchen Galleries (Unit #187/188) - you'll find shower doors, faucets, vanities, hardware, tubs, mirrors and cabinets - they have everything and are incredibly helpful, too

Kitchens and Renovations

There are lots of showrooms dedicated to kitchens and general home renovations (like and ), but I absolutely loved my time at the Remodel Canada (Unit #205) showroom. They can assist from start to finish with sourcing materials and actually completing the work, so it's a great option if you don't have your own contractor.

Flooring

Of course, you'll notice some overlap here as Remodel Canada (Unit #205) can also offer flooring and installation, however, a showroom like Art De Vie Renovation (Unit #318) has a massive selection of flooring on display and samples available for you to take home. They had laminate, hardwood, engineered hardwood, vinyl and carpets to choose from, and they were also so lovely to talk to!

Furniture

I was so excited to see that Ton (Unit 311,316) has a showroom at Improve Canada - their selection of bentwood chairs is unmatched, and their pieces are customizable, too! Oh, and they have a sale section, which is pretty fabulous, too! Other showrooms I plan on visiting are Urban Comfort (Units 307, 308) and Sofa Bed Central (Unit 43) - I'll be sure to share what I see there!

Art & Lighting

I fell in love with just about everything at Tubicen (Unit 282, 283) - their lighting is so modern and cool! And for art, Gallery M2 (Unit #153) had a huge selection of traditional and contemporary art pieces of all sizes. Accessorizing your home is easy peasy with all of these amazing companies under one roof!

There's so much more to see, of course, but this is a good start to introduce you to everything that's available at Improve Canada. I'll be sharing more as I source a few things for our own home and visit different showrooms!
