Hello dear friends of The L.O.! I hope you're all having a wonderful holiday season filled with sugary sweets, savoury meals and loads of family downtime - after all, those are the things that matter, right?Today I'm bringing you a different sort of New Year's post. There are no resolutions, no goals, and no looking back at what 2014 consisted of. It's not because I hate those things - I actually really like them, and you know that's true based on the fact that I made them for 2013 and 2014. I just decided that this year I would keep that list more private - the long one, anyway. I did make a short one, which was really spur of the moment and took me about 2 minutes. You may have caught it on Instagram...Screen Shot 2014-12-31 at 6.05.32 PMAnother change we're making this year is that instead of getting burgers and fries, sitting on the couch in our PJ's and watching movies all night on New Year's Eve, we actually got together with friends and had a fantastic time filled with laughter. Because, why not, right?Lastly, I didn't want to make this post super boring and pointless, and the whole getting together with friends got me thinking of the things we toast to when our champagne-filled glasses clink together - that is, when we don't just use the typical "Cheers" (not that there's anything wrong with that), so I looked up some toasts from around the world. And then I made some printable files. JUST FOR YOU to have for free! It's my small way of tasting to the New Year with you.The first one comes to us from Spain, and its literal translation is "To the top! To the bottom! To the center! To the inside!" This is because during the toast, you would raise your glasses, touch them to the table, bring them all together, and take them to your lips. I love the actions that go along with this one! Arriba abajo   The next one isn't actually a toast, but I love the simple, yet meaningful words, which mean "Peace. Love. Happiness." We can thank the French for this one!paix amour bonheurThe Irish have a lovely toast, which I think is actually just a great reminder for everyday life, because how often do we really forget to LIVE?!may you liveNow, you can do one of two things: you can simply click on the images, and when they open up, just right click and save them to your desktop. The other option is to click on this link and you can download them directly. They're fairly large files and can be printed in high resolution (up to 8x10).If this all seems like way too much work for you, you're in luck! I'm giving away 4 physical prints to four lucky winners! And you don't even have to do anything, just click on the widget below! If you want to, you can leave a comment telling me which print you like the most and, if you have one, what your own favourite toast is! That's all! And if you don't win, these will be available in my Etsy shop once the contest closes. What Etsy shop, you ask? Well, that's one of the quiet 2015 goals I made, and I'm starting the year already completing it, though it's very much fresh and in its beginning stages.Alright, time to enter the giveaway!

Win 1 of 4 "Cheers" prints!

I hope 2014 ended exactly the way you wanted, and that 2015 begins with nothing but the prospect of wonderful things. Much, much, much love to you all!
