Weekend Winners ~ 13
So we celebrated the Summer Solstice this week, and it is such a bittersweet day! To know that it is the longest day of the year is so lovely, but sadly, it only goes down from here... days will get shorter and winter is inching closer and closer already. All on the very first day of Summer!!! The good news is we're having some sort of weird extended Spring here in Ontario and the Summer humidity hasn't hit us yet, and that is a beautiful thing! Feeling better about my Debbie-Downer moment? Ok well maybe these next few photos will help!

Who says you can't have chrome, brushed steel, bronze and a little chipped paint all in one room? No one, that's who! The mix works so well in this washroom, and the look is entirely effortless, which is really the best part of all. I wouldn't be complaining about washing my face and brushing my teeth every day in this little spot. [Source]

Have you used this trick before? I was actually in a classroom a few weeks ago and the students used this method to recreate some of their favourite cartoon characters very successfully. I had not thought about it for a chalkboard until I saw this, though! Such a smart idea, and such a beautiful chalkboard from Ella Claire.

Believe it or not, this is one of three beautiful folding chair transformations. The gold and polka dots got me though, and I had to share this one. I definitely wouldn't mind having a few of these around when we have extra guests at home. My Fabuless Life knows how to do folding chairs right!
